Banquet Dinner

The Banquet Dinner will be hosted in Pugin House on Thursday 12th June 2025. Attendees who select this option during registration will incur an additional cost of €60.

Tour of Russell Library

On Wed 11th June, we have organised a short historical tour of the Russell Library in Maynooth University for any conference attendees who would like to view this, this will take place before the conference at 11.30am on Wednesday 11th June (the library is located beside Renehan Hall on the South Campus), the reading room was designed by Augustus Welby Northmore Pugin. The library houses a collection of over 34,000 printed works dating from the 16th to the mid-19th century across a range of subjects including: theology, mathematics, science, geography and history. Biodiversity Tour

On Friday, 14th June 2025, a Biodiversity Tour will be conducted across the Maynooth University campus during lunchtime (12.40-14.20). This tour aims to showcase the diverse range of habitats and species that thrive in the university’s surroundings. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the ecological significance of these areas and the ongoing conservation initiatives led by the Maynooth University Biodiversity Working Group (BWG).

The BWG is actively involved in numerous projects that enhance the biodiversity of the campus, including habitat mapping and species monitoring. This tour will highlight the efforts made to create a sustainable environment that benefits both the local ecosystem and the university community.

Due to the nature of the event, participation is limited to 30 individuals. Attendees will be guided through various habitats, providing a unique opportunity to engage with the natural environment while learning about the vital role of biodiversity in our ecosystem.
