Travel Info

A. Arriving at Maynooth from Dublin Airport
– Airport Hopper: A direct bus from Dublin airport to Maynooth town at Maynooth, Straffan Road: Airport Hopper – Dublin Airport Shuttle Service (€19.95 return online, tickets available online).
– Taxi: A taxi trip from Dublin airports costs around €65 one way and will take approx 35 mins without traffic.
– Buses/Trains: Combinations of buses and trains can be used. TFI Leap Cards are needed to pay for travel around Dublin (and Maynooth) on all TFI public transport services including Dublin Bus, Go-Ahead Ireland, Luas, DART and commuter rail within the Dublin area “Short-Hop zone”. B. Arriving at Maynooth University by train
Take the train to Maynooth Railway Station. The train station is 15 mins walking distance of the university. If coming from Dublin, Pearse and Connolly stations are best options: Live Trains (irishrail.ie). Average Time is 45 mins.

C. Arriving at Maynooth University by bus
Take either the C3 or C4 routes from Dublin Bus: Dublin Bus – Home.

D. Arriving at Maynooth University by car
