What is the Rising Stars in Glycoscience Workshop?

    • The Rising Stars in Glycoscience Workshop 2025 is a unique event designed to showcase cutting-edge research by early-career academics (ECA) in the field of glycoscience. This interactive half-day workshop brings together talented PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, and established leaders in the field for a dynamic exchange of ideas and expertise.
    • Participants will have the opportunity to present their research, engage with a distinguished guest panel, and compete for exciting prizes. With a focus on collaboration and networking, this event aims to inspire the next generation of glycoscientists and foster connections that advance the field globally.
    • Hosted in the stunning the National Science and Ecclesiology Museum and Pugin Hall at Maynooth University, the workshop combines the best of science and history, culminating in a networking lunch to celebrate achievements and share insights.

Abstract Submission Section

  • Eligibility:
    Masters, PhD students and Post-docs who have completed their PhD no earlier than Jan 2023 (national and international) are invited to submit abstracts
  • Submission Deadline:
    February 1, 2025.
